We transform planning from simple tool usage into economically viable implementation

01

Planning as an Economic Lever

We transform planning from an operational tool into a central control mechanism for service levels, inventory, productivity, and working capital.

02

Implementation, Not Just Consulting

Our solutions deliver results in real-world operations. We design processes, systems, and organizational structures to ensure plans can be implemented reliably.

Integrated Planning Across the Supply Chain and Production

Our software solutions integrate all planning levels into a consistent decision-making framework.

From Process Consulting to Industrial Planning Architecture

Since its founding, MCP has evolved from a process consulting firm into a specialist in integrated planning architectures. Starting with production planning using Opcenter APS and complementing it with its own workforce management system to ensure feasibility, MCP gradually expanded its scope. With the addition of Sunstice, the company extended its planning capabilities across the entire supply chain.Today, MCP combines production, workforce, and supply chain planning with optimization and AI into an integrated decision-making architecture for economically viable and stable operations.

FuturMaster will operate under the name Sunstice going forward—a rebranding that goes far beyond a new name and marks a strategic shift toward Structured Agility™. The goal is to rethink planning and help organizations remain adaptable and capable of taking action in a world characterized by constant uncertainty and disruption.
Expanding our network into Central and Eastern Europe: Together with local partners, we are launching an active market development initiative in Central and Eastern Europe for supply chain planning.
After seven successful years operating a Christian Doppler Laboratory, MCP has acquired extensive expertise in the niche field of planning algorithms and AI.Based on this expertise, TU Wien has invited us to join the newly established CAIML (Center for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning).
MCP is launching its “AI-as-a-Service” product. Optimization algorithms are offered as a cloud service, allowing them to be quickly and easily integrated into existing software solutions.
Several customers in the food and beverage industry already rely on our advanced demand planning capabilities. Through close collaboration, we have developed tailored solutions that improve efficiency and increase planning reliability across the industry. The MCP Workforce Management system is currently being extended with the Shopfloor Monitor. Production staff can report progress directly against the production schedule, enabling real-time tracking of efficiency and schedule adherence in combination with APS and workforce planning.
We are expanding our portfolio of solutions to include supply chain software from FuturMaster (now Sunstice). We now offer our “MCP Workforce Management” product for workforce planning as an end-to-end solution or integrated with other software solutions in addition to Opcenter APS.
We now also offer MCP Workforce Management. It complements the Opcenter APS solution and is delivered as an integrated part of it.
MCP continues to grow: with over 40 experts in production planning and projects for several renowned corporations and medium-sized companies, we are establishing ourselves as a provider of intelligent planning solutions in the German-speaking market.Together with TU Wien, we are establishing a Christian Doppler Laboratory dedicated to research on “Artificial Intelligence and Optimization in Planning and Scheduling,” led by Assoc. Prof. DI Dr. Nysret Musliu.
MCP becomes a Solution Partner for Siemens in the DACH region. The “Corporate Restructuring” division will be spun off into the independent company MCPre GmbH.In 2016, approximately 20 employees were dedicated exclusively to production planning and Opcenter APS (formerly Preactor).
Siemens' software division is acquiring the British company Preactor to further expand its expertise in the APS sector and enhance its portfolio.
As part of the evaluation process for Siemens, MCP is becoming a Preactor partner. In doing so, MCP is filling a geographical gap in the software manufacturer’s global network.
As a process and organizational consulting firm, MCP evaluated APS production planning tools for the Siemens Transformer Group on behalf of Siemens. Preactor (now Opcenter APS) was selected as the solution for the group based on MCP’s recommendation.
In the course of our consulting projects, production planning has emerged as a strategic priority: The gap between the potential offered by effective production planning and the reality of its implementation in many industrial companies motivates us to delve deeply into this topic.MCP has now grown to a team of 8 employees and is carrying out projects in Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, and Poland.
MCP was founded as a management consulting firm for the industrial sector. The firm focused on process and organizational consulting, as well as operational excellence. By the end of 2007, the company had four employees.

Industry experience as the foundation for actionable planning

MCP combines a deep understanding of industrial processes with strong expertise in technological implementation. Our roots in process consulting enable us to approach planning challenges holistically—from organizational drivers to technical execution. We understand the typical bottlenecks, conflicting priorities, and operational realities faced by manufacturing companies. That is why we do not view planning systems as software projects, but as business levers for improving service levels, inventory, and productivity.

Management Team with Expertise in Industry, Technology, and Optimization

The MCP management team combines deep industrial planning experience, expertise in mathematical optimization, and a proven track record in successful implementation. This combination enables us to support strategic decision-making at the C-level while reliably executing complex planning systems at the operational level.
